Dear Mr. Hiddleston,

Allow me to thank you greatly for your efforts as a actor and being such a wonderful role-model for our future generation; and current ones - whoever said life stops at an age? even old Scrooges like myself still find reason to keep in touch with the world, a world which you already seem to be changing.

Concerning the characters you play, allow me to congratulate you on managing to make them feel so incredibly… “human” for lack of a better word. Viewing the movies (as well as the television series) you play in is always a delight. You characters seem to hold a certain charm to them which I have yet to determine if they had been written to be that way, or if you made them that way. Especially Loki. I want to give that kind a hug.

To sum it all up, I thank you for entertaining us lesser mortals. May good health find you wherever you may go and know that your fans love you. My only question would probably be… where are the ponies?!

Best of wishes,

J.P.

Letter-writing project - Calling fans of Tom Hiddleston!

What it says up there! Send us your letters - we’ll be compiling them into a shiny little book and sending it off to Tom’s management folk.

Dear Mr. Hiddleston,

Can I just start of by saying that you are a fantastic actor? Your Loki has to be one of the more nuanced performances of a villainous character in a superhero film. While I was ambivalent about the Marvel Thor-verse, I can most certainly say I’m not now - and while I love Thor (and Odin, and Jane Foster, and Sif, and the Warriors Three), I have to admit that I find Loki the most compelling. I blame that on you. :)

Also, I’m amazed that you didn’t just study at Cambridge, but that you read Classics while you were there. That is just ridiculously awesome. I want to be you when I grow up! And 24 years old is not grown up, damn it.

Thanks for being awesome, and I look forward to stalking following your indubitably equally awesome acting career.

Yours sincerely,

A fan (Manchester, UK)
